Opportunities in the Brazilian market

Brazil has one of the fastest growing economies in the world and shows excellent prospects for the coming years. Brazil has a very young population and sports and physical well-being play an important role in the national culture.

In the next few years, Brazil will undoubtedly be the country with the biggest opportunities for companies in the sports infrastructure industry. As host of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2016 Olympic Games, Brazil is investing an enormous amount of money in the construction, technology and equipment for sports facilities. However, this is just the beginning; the opportunities in the Brazilian market are by no means limited to these events.

With thousands of fitness centers, swimming pools, football fields and government policies to stimulate sports in urban communities, the investments in sports infrastructure and equipment will remain very high in the next few years. An additional boost will be provided by the 2014 and 2016 events.
